Privacy policy

Last updated October 18, 2026. This is how I-765 Helper, an iPhone app made by WEIRTECH, handles your information.

The short version: your voice stays on your phone, and the app looks for your personal details and swaps out the ones it finds before anything is sent. Here is the full detail.

No account, no tracking

You never create an account or give us an email or a password. The app does not track you across other apps or websites.

What stays on your iPhone

Your voice. Apple's speech recognition turns what you say into text right on your iPhone. The recording is never uploaded and never saved.

Your documents. If you show the app your passport or a USCIS receipt notice, it reads them on your iPhone. The photos are never uploaded. Only the answers you confirm from them go into your form.

Your answers, your form and your document photos are stored with iOS Data Protection at its strongest level. They are encrypted with keys protected by your iPhone's Secure Enclave, can only be read while your phone is unlocked, and are kept out of backups. The app's security keys stay in the iPhone Keychain and never move to another device.

What is sent to our server

The app asks before anything is sent. Its first screen, "Before we start," explains what gets sent and that AI services from other companies read it. Nothing is sent until you tap "Agree and continue," and the app keeps the date you agreed, on your phone.

The text of what you say or type is sent to our server so the assistant can understand it. Before it goes, the app looks for the personal details in it: names, your A-Number, Social Security number, the month and day of your date of birth (the year is sent as is), phone number, email, street address and ZIP code. It replaces each one it finds with a realistic stand-in.

The key that links each stand-in to your real detail is stored only on your phone and is never sent. When the assistant answers, your phone puts your real details back before you see them.

Some answers have to be read as they are to fill in the form: your city and state, your sex and marital status, your countries of citizenship and place of birth, your passport and I-94 numbers, your immigration status and eligibility category, the dates and place of your last arrival, and your yes or no answers. None of it comes with an account, an email or a password.

What is sent travels only to our own server, over an encrypted HTTPS connection. The app checks the server's certificate itself (certificate pinning), so it will not talk to an impostor.

To answer you, our server passes that text to the AI service providers we work with. They get the same text our server gets, under our server's own account, so they are never told your Apple Account or which phone you're on.

Requests also carry a random ID the app makes when you install it. There's nothing to sign up for.

What our server keeps

For 30 days, our server keeps the text sent to the assistant and the assistant's replies. We read them to fix problems and to improve the app's questions and checks. After 30 days the text is deleted automatically.

For each request we also keep a usage record: the time and how much processing it used, plus the city on your form and a rough location (country, region and city) worked out from your internet address. The address itself isn't saved in that record. Usage records are deleted automatically after 90 days.

Our server logs and web access logs are deleted automatically as newer ones replace them, usually within a few weeks to a few months. The web access logs include your internet address and the app version.

We don't sell your data, and we don't train AI models on it. The AI providers we work with don't keep what we send them and don't train on it.

Delete all my data, in the app's Settings, also deletes the saved text and the usage records for your phone. Server logs and web access logs aren't part of that; they're deleted on their own, as described above.

One thing stays after a delete: a running total of how much assistant use your phone has had, in dollars, so the app's usage limits still apply. It holds no text, no answers and no internet address, only a one-way scrambled code made from the random ID the app created when you installed it.

Our App Store privacy label

The label lists the kinds of data the app collects. None of it is linked to your identity, none of it is used to track you, and all of it is used only to make the app work.

Purchases

Apple handles payment. So you can restore a purchase later, the app gives Apple a one-way scrambled code made from the identifier your purchase is tied to (your A-Number or, if you don't have one, your I-94 number or your passport number), never the number itself.

Deleting your data

Delete all my data, in Settings, erases everything this app has stored on your phone and what our server keeps for it. If you're offline, the server part finishes the next time you open the app with a connection.

Who we are not

I-765 Helper is not affiliated with USCIS or any government agency. We do not send anything to the government for you; you print, sign and file your form yourself. We are not a law firm, we do not give legal advice, and this app is not a substitute for the advice of an attorney.

Children

The app is for adults applying for employment authorization and is not directed at children under 13.
